The leather-clad Asus U6S is an ultraportable that will require you to tote around a little extra weight in return for its power and ports. It carries a fair price, but we would like it more if the battery ran longer....

The Good: Ditches the slow ULV CPUs of other ultraportables for a full-powered Core 2 Duo; leather accents are a nice touch; includes HDMI port.
The Bad: Unimpressive battery life; a bit thick and heavy for an ultraportable.
The Bottom Line: The leather-clad Asus U6S is an ultraportable that will require you to tote around a little extra weight in return for its power and ports. It carries a fair price, but we would like it more if the battery ran longer.
